Meet Our Founder
Vijay Narayan
Vijay Narayan is a seasoned technology executive and educator committed to democratizing AI literacy across India. Founded on the belief that technology is the great equalizer, his venture, VidyaSopan, aims to bridge the digital divide, ensuring that students from government and private institutions alike have equal access to the tools and knowledge shaping our future.
Vijay brings over 25 years of software industry experience to this mission, including a distinguished 19-year tenure at Microsoft. As a Principal Engineering Manager, he architected and scaled critical security services that served millions monthly active users. His leadership in Microsoft Security and Azure was defined by building robust, massive-scale systems.
An alumnus of BITS Pilani (MS in Software Systems) and GNDU (B.Tech in Computer Science), Vijay combines deep academic roots with world-class engineering execution to empower the next generation of Indian innovators.
